Starbucks
Grand Turk Cruise Center, Grand TurkOn the quaint capital island of Grand Turk in the only Cruise Center in the Turks and Caicos Islands, visitors will find the globally popular Starbucks—the only franchise in the country brought in by Caribbean Coffee Traders Limited, a Caribbean joint venture led by Margaritaville Caribbean Group.
Showcasing some of the best coffees from around the world while honoring the local culture, visitors who either come in by cruise ship or hop a flight over for an overnight stay can enjoy the famous delicacies of Starbucks customized to their liking.
The coral high-rise store is reminiscent of the pink flamingos that take residence in the island’s historical salinas, with a café design unique to the island, mimicking the Bermudian-style buildings from the island’s salt industry. The indoor color palette is kept light to reflect a tropical theme, with the intention of evoking tranquility and warmth.
Patrons can choose between indoor or outdoor seating at this modern coffee establishment, with free Wi-Fi also available. Visitors will also find shady tents in the signature Starbucks green color to offer relief from the hot sun as guests enjoy their hot or cold beverages and snacks.
Serving its patrons 100% arabica coffee beans, this establishment also offers exquisite coffees from around the world, including the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions.
The Menu
The Grand Turk Starbucks location provides all of the coffee shop’s unique signature drinks, from hot coffees to refreshing cold drinks. Coffee drinkers can choose from a menu of brewed coffees, cappuccinos, espresso shots, flat whites, lattes, macchiatos, and mochas. Patrons who aren’t big coffee drinkers can also enjoy an array of teas, both hot or iced, such as chai tea lattes, black teas, green teas, and herbal teas.
Avoiding caffeine? The coffee shop also offers caffeine-free options. And for those with a sweet tooth, the Starbucks menu includes hot chocolates, caramel apple spice, and steamed apple juice, as well as steamers such as cinnamon dolce crème, steamed milk, and vanilla crème.
Looking for a cold blended drink to enjoy while soaking up the sun and enjoying Grand Turk’s world-famous ocean views? Cool down with the widely popular frappuccino. There are two types available: the original Starbucks signature frappuccino and the crème frappuccino. For those craving a cold non-blended drink, decadent cold brews are right at your fingertips. Chill out with iced coffees, nitro cold brews, iced americanos, iced shaken espressos, iced flat whites, iced lattes, iced macchiatos, and iced mochas.
Visitors who don’t care for coffee or tea also have the option of ordering Starbucks’ refreshers, which are concocted with real fruit pieces and natural juice, to quench their thirst.
Starbucks caters heavily to the on-the-go traveler, which means that patrons can enjoy refreshing coffee and non-coffee beverages that are bottled, canned, or boxed.
To complement the cafe’s drinks menu, Starbucks also offers delicious food options that cater to all diets, including vegetarian and vegan. Hot breakfasts include sandwiches, wraps, and egg bites. Visitors will also find baked goods such as scones, cookies, brownies, cakes, breads, muffins, and croissants to enjoy with their drink of choice.
Lunch is also available throughout the day, with the coffee shop offering a variety of sandwiches to choose from. Other snacks and sweets, as well as oatmeal and yogurt, are also readily available for pick-up at the counter and refrigerator bar.
For guests who prefer to make their own coffee at home, Starbucks offers the option to purchase whole-bean or instant coffee selections.
For loyal Starbucks customers, the shop also offers the company’s signature logo-engraved merchandise, including cold cups, tumblers, mugs, water bottles, and other miscellaneous goods. Gift cards are also available for purchase.
