Sharkbite Bar and Grill is a popular Turks and Caicos restaurant and bar, with a casual atmosphere and waterfront location at the Turtle Cove Marina. Sharkbite serves a very wide menu, with an emphasis on bar and grill favorites.
The Atmosphere
Both indoor and outdoor dockside seating is available at Sharkbite.
As the restaurant’s name may indicate, Sharkbite is the only eatery where you’ll have a decent chance of spotting a real life shark! The establishment has some dock lights installed, and almost every night a huge nurse shark will make its rounds of the area. There are hungry snappers too!
Sharkbite is wheelchair accessible, has free Wi-Fi, and accepts credit cards.

The Menu at Sharkbite
Sharkbite does several dishes really well, yet their extensive menu of wings stands out. There’s an option for everyone, from mild Plain Jane to the famous Shark Attack, as well as many unique regional flavors such as jerk, chipotle, BBQ, teriyaki, sweet Thai chili, honey mustard, and sweet and sour.
The Goombay Grouper Sandwich is another excellent choice, and is served with homemade fries and thick slices of tomato and avocado. The fish and chips, classic burger, Philly cheesesteak, and soft fish tacos are also really good. There’s a small selection of salads and vegetarian choices too.
Entrees at Sharkbite include dishes created from fresh local snapper, grouper, or lobster (when in season), as well as curries, shrimp, and several BBQ options. Conch chowder, conch fritters, conch salad, and cracked conch, all made from local conch, is also on the menu.
Dessert choices change occasionally, yet favorites include key lime pie and ice cream.
Sharkbite features a wide selection of beers, spirits, wines, and popular special mixed drinks. The restaurant has local Turk’s Head on tap (lager, light, and amber), and is one of the few establishments on Providenciales that also has Heineken on tap.
Located in Turtle Cove
Turtle Cove is a small tourism enclave in central Providenciales. The large Turtle Cove Marine is the primary feature of the area, and is home to many restaurants and charter businesses.
Several hotels and vacation villas are within walking distance of Sharkbite and Turtle Cove Marina, including La Vista Azul, the Queen Angel, the Yacht Club, and many vacation properties near the beach at Smith’s Reef.
Parking is free near Sharkbite. On busy nights, the spaces nearest the restaurant can get quite crowded, which makes it necessary to park on the nearby Bridge Street.
