Atlantic Aviation is located on the southern side of the runway at the Providenciales International Airport.

Atlantic Aviation is a leading private aircraft fixed-base operator (FBO), located at the Providenciales International Airport in the Turks and Caicos. The facility has its own fuel depot and is partnered with global firm Avfuel, and offers a full range of concierge services. Atlantic Aviation prides itself on its focus on personalized service, rapid processing and clearing of aircraft, and attention to detail, with timely responses to inquiries.

Prior to 2023, the Atlantic Aviation FBO was known as Blue Heron Aviation.

Every flight that arrives at Atlantic Aviation is met with by the company’s dedicated concierge team (which caters to everything guests may need), if not by the general manager and deputy.

Passengers coming and going will find a clean, modern, and comfortable 6,800-square-foot (632 sq m) terminal that includes a crew lounge, dark rooms, office space, and a conference room, with complimentary Wi-Fi offered throughout the facility. Visitors will also find complimentary coffee and a varied selection of cold drinks at the bar.

All of Atlantic Aviation’s staff come from the commercial aviation sector and combined have many decades of experience in the industry. All of the staff have been trained under the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) criteria, with all undergoing quality control training every year from the Aviation Training Academy (ATA).

The Atlantic Aviation facility is located mid-field on the south side of the runway for the convenience of visitors, and it’s the only FBO that can provide expedited departure for the prevailing winds with 5,700 feet of usable runway east from Taxiway Hotel. Wherever travelers are staying during their time in Turks and Caicos, Atlantic Aviation is also conveniently located within 20 minutes of all destinations on the island.

Entry, Immigration, and Customs

All forms required to be completed for entry into the Turks and Caicos are available on the Atlantic Aviation website to download. FBO staff typically completes most paperwork prior to the arrival of aircraft, allowing the swift processing of passengers through immigration and customs. Usually, all that’s left for visitors to do is sign their forms and give them to the immigration and customs officers.

Direct from Aircraft to Ground Transportation

Atlantic Aviation offers a full range of fuel, concierge, and ground services for private aircraft.

For guest privacy and convenience, rapid immigration and customs clearance can typically be done at the aircraft, allowing those arriving to exit their aircraft directly to ground transportation waiting steps away, which can then transfer guests to their accommodation or vessel.

Once guests are ready to return home, they can be driven straight to their aircraft for a quick and simple departure process. Atlantic Aviation offers complimentary hot and cold beverages and snacks for departing guests, and a lounge, if desired.

Aviation Fuel

Atlantic Aviation provides fuel and fueling services, at competitive rates. The complex works with leading international firm Avfuel to import fuel, and maintains their own fuel depot and distribution systems to ensure availability, price, and rapid service.

The FBO has three modern aviation fuel trucks that can hold up to 7,000 gallons of fuel and can pump at a rate of 300 gallons per minute (1,136 liters), making for a quick turnaround time even on a busy day.

Atlantic Aviation provides Jet A fuel, and 100LL aviation gasoline.

Aircraft Parking and Ground Operations

Atlantic Aviation maintains a fleet of fuel trucks, and has their own fuel farm.

Directly outside of the FBO terminal is 12 acres of paved aircraft parking—one of the largest private aircraft aprons in the Caribbean, and designed to accommodate aircraft up to a Boeing 757, although the airport’s team can coordinate handling for aircraft up to a Boeing 777 at the commercial terminal. On the runway, Atlantic Aviation’s team takes care of all ground handling and fueling.

Concierge Services and Catering

FBO services include housekeeping at the facility, with the service offered for aircraft cabin cleaning. Catering is available through the FBO via partnered local firm Sky Catering, which offers a wide range of menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which can be catered to special requests and diets.

Additional amenities include a laundry service with a 48-hour turnaround time on weekends, and dishwashing onsite.
